Vackra dörrar

Nu har jag beställt dörrar till gäststugan/garaget! Det blev en garageport i trä från det lokala snickeriet Gebo. Tyvärr måste vi ha brandklassade ytterdörrar på väggen som vetter mot bostadshuset för husen ligger för nära varandra. Det gick inte att få en brandklassad dörr från Gebo så vi beställde de två ytterdörrarna från K-Bo Gross istället. Inte lokalt tillverkad och inte träpanel på utsidan men bra pris och service. Dörrarna får samma blå färg som fönsterna. Nu återstår det bara att välja ytterdörren till bostadshuset och där vill vi ha en pardörr i traditionell stil för Österlen. Finns många varianter...vi får studera mönster och proportioner när vi designar vår dörr!



I have now ordered the doors for the guesthouse/garage. The garage door is made of wood and comes from the local factory Gebo.  Unfortunately, we need to have fire resistant doors on the north side of the house that faces the main house because the two houses are too close together. We could not order this type of door from Gebo so we ordered them from K-Bo Gross instead. Not locally produced and no wood panel on the outside, but very good service and reasonable price.   The doors will have the same blue color as the windows. Now we just need to decide on the door for the main house where we want a double door, traditional for the Österlen area. There are lots of options…will need to study the patterns and proportions when we design our door!
