Brandskydd

Vårt lilla hus har både garage och gäststuga. Ovanför garaget finns ett sovloft. Svenska byggnormer anser att det är högre risk att det börjar brinna i garaget och därför ska man skydda gäststugan. Kravet är EI30 vilket innebär att materialen ska kunna motstå brand i minst 30 minuter. Innertaket i garaget bygger vi med 13 mm gips plus träullit akustik skivor. Väggen mellan garage och gäststuga är uppmurad med 250 mm leca block. Vi har dock en hel del rör som kommer upp i väggen, både el och golvvärme. Så länge man har minst 50 mm leca/murverk så klara väggen EI30 kravet. El dragningarna genom taket brandskyddas.

Our little house has a garage and a guest house. Above the garage is a sleep loft. According to Swedish building code, there is a higher risk of fire in the garage and therefore we need to protect the guest house. The code states EI30 for us which means that the materials need to withstand fire for at least 30 minutes.  We are building the ceiling with 13 mm gypsum board and träullit acoustic boards. The wall between the garage and the guest house is built with 250 mm thick leca blocks. We have quite a few pipes coming up in this wall, both electrical and floor heating. As long as there is at least 50 mm of leca/stucco the wall will meet the EI30 requirement. Electrical cables through the ceiling also need to be fire proofed.
